What we do

At Window Reno LTD, we're more than just a glazing company — we do the whole job when it comes to timber joinery.

  • We manufacture brand-new timber windows and doors that match the original — double- or single-glazed.

  • We provide a full replacement or just a single sesh unit to fit into existing window or doors.

  • Made in our workshop from pine, rimu, mataī or cedar — whatever suits your home best.

  • We carefully remove your old single-glazed panes and fit new IGUs into your original timber frames.

  • We strip, clean, and polish your original hardware, or replace it with something new that suits the style.

  • From sticky front doors and loose hinges to broken panes — if it’s timber joinery, we can fix it.

We work all over Taranaki, including New Plymouth and surrounding areas.

ABOUT

Why Timber?

Timber has excellent thermal performance and, with the right upgrades, it can outperform many modern alternatives.

We believe most timber joinery doesn’t need replacing — just improving. With smart repairs, glazing, and sealing, we transform what you’ve got into something special.

Highly recommended. Anders was on time and did a very tidy job. If you have an old villa or cottage and you need to double glaze your windows, he is the right person for the job. His workmanship is perfection. I have seen other double glazed jobs, but they weren't as good as his. If you get cheaper quotes than his, than you would properly get less quality. Anders is a really good person to deal with and he' s open for any advice.

Anders did a wonderful job bringing our broken, rotting mid-century windows back to life! He took great care and attention in the restoration and was able to keep the original wooden frames, replacing the single glazing with double glazed units - could not recommend him highly enough. He also fixed our doors and closet which was fantastic!

Highly recommend! Anders has double glazed more than 50 windows (incl. refurbishing old fan light windows). It has been an easy and pleasant process from quoting to finalising the job. Communication around installation dates etc. Has been excellent and we are very happy with the final product.

Anders and Jayson exceeded my expectations of what my old rotting double hung villa windows could be, they took care of them and rebuilt them to look as good as when they were crafted a 100 years ago, upgraded with double glazing and thermal insulation, they are dry and rattle free ready to last another century,
